Christine Renee Spillman

Chistine Renee Spillman, 61 of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away unexpectedly at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

Christy was born on October 11, 1961 in Long Beach, California to Benjamin and Waneta (Stollar) Bellmore. Christy graduated from Cypress High School in Cypress, California in 1979. She then married Mike Glover and they welcomed two sons, Brock and Brian. They later divorced. On June 26, 2009 Christy married Brandon Spillman in Independence, Kansas. With this union she welcomed her bonus son, Brendon Spillman. Christy worked at Grandview Cabinets in Parsons, for 15 years. In April of 2020, Christy began her favorite job of all, caring for her granddaughters. She was able to stay home and help care and love her precious granddaughters. Christy loved to go fishing, decorate the house for every holiday and spend time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Waneta Bellmore.

Christy’s legacy will carry on with her husband, Brandon Spillman of Cherryvale, sons, Brock (Meagan) Glover of California, Brian (Haley) Glover of Neodesha, and Brendon Spillman of Chanute, sisters, Cheryle (Rick) Hall of Indiana, and Vicky (Bob) Berry of Pittsburg, granddaughters, Callie Glover, Ember Glover and Katie Barney, and numerous nieces, and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Potts Chapel and the family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
