Clarence Housel

Clarence T. Housel, 56, Independence, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Windsor Place in Coffeyville, Kansas. Graveside services will be 9:00 a.m., Friday, June 24, 2016 at Bethel Cemetery in rural Independence, Kansas with Reverend Bill Booe officiating.
Clarence was born February 3, 1960 in Independence, Kansas to Charles H. and M. Ann (Hattan) Housel. He attended and graduated from Independence High School the Class of 78' following graduation Clarence was employed in California and Louisiana before returning back to Cherryvale to help his father run the family ranch. Following the death of his father Clarence continued to run the family ranch until his failing health forced him to retire.
Clarence was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother Ann, Independence, KS; one brother Mark Housel, Parsons, KS; one sister Cindy and husband Ray Allison, Cherryvale, KS; one niece Sheree Shenefield, Cherryvale, KS; one nephew Clint and wife Amber Dean, Oologah, OK; one great-nice Ainsley Shenefield, and two great-nephews Jackson and Cooper Dean.
