Curtis Wayne Knight passed away on Friday, October 15th, 2021, in Parsons Kansas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, October 21st, 2021, at the First Southern Baptist Church of Cherryvale at 11:00am. Burial will follow at the Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, 5:00-7:00pm at Potts Chapel of Cherryvale.

Curtis was born on July 29th, 1969, in Coffeyville Kansas. He was the son of Howard Wayne and Cecilia Paynter (Oakleaf) Knight. He graduated from Coffeyville High School in 1987. After graduation he joined the United States Navy. He served 4 years as a Machinist Mate. Later he began his truck driving career. He worked for Agile, Burrows, JB Kelly and Emerald. Curtis was also a volunteer firefighter. He enjoyed reading, wood carving, shooting sports and was very active in his church.

He is preceded in death by his father Howard Knight, grandparents: George and Shirley Knight and Charles and Jean Oakleaf.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother Cecilia, brothers: Leon (Delinda) Knight, Philip (Andrea) Knight; sister Shelli (Douglas) Blair, 13 nieces and nephews and 11 great-nieces and nephews.
