Damon Cook of Cherryvale, Kansas born July 1, 1974, passed away unexpectantly on February 15, 2024.
His departure has come as a great shock and is felt by his entire family and countless others who loved Damon.
Damon is survived by his loving wife Nicole Jones-Cook, 6 children Michelle Jones, Delana Dowell, Samantha Boles, Jemma Jones, Kaylee Harp and Lysa Meloy. He had 3 grandchildren Mason Jones, David McRoberts and Emery Dowell. All of Cherryvale. His sister Tammy McDow of Belle Plaine and Chris Cook of Neodesha.
Damon was a fun spirited soul. He was an excellent skillful welder at Hackney of Independence for 20+ years. He was adventurous and loved fishing, hiking, traveling, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his heart of gold, compassion, selflessness and willingness to help others. His kindness and passionate personality touched everyone he met. He was cleaver and full to the brim with knowledge. He will be greatly missed by everyone. He may be gone but never forgotten.
The family appreciates your support during this difficulty time. A celebration of life will occur with details to be determined. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Potts Chapel.
