Darrell Hobert

Darrell Dean Hobert passed away on February 25, 2022 in Cherryvale, Kansas.

Darrell was born on August 19, 1947 to his mother Marjory Anne Falk and father Harold F. Kincaid in West Union Iowa. Growing up alongside his sister and brothers, Darrell lead a happy life full of adventures and outdoors time. He graduated from West Union Highschool and later joined the United States Army to serve his beloved nation. After his time in the armed forces, he met his wife Peggy and they were married on November 4th 1988 in Topeka, Kansas.

Darrell worked at American Insulated Wire and worked a variety of jobs as he was an all-around handy man. Towards the end of his time with A.I.W. he worked as a custodian for the last seven years, he retired in 2009.

Some of Darrell's favorite activities were fishing, going to garage sales around town, exploring with his wife Peggy, relaxing and watching television, and listening to county music.

Darrell is proceeded in death by his father Harold F. Kincaid and his mother Marjory Anne Falk.

He is survived by his sister Teri, wife Peggy, and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Potts Chapel and no services are planned at this time.
