Frank Knight

Frank Wesley Knight, 69, of Cherryvale passed peacefully in his home on November 9, 2022.

Frank was born on February 2, 1953 in Independence to George and Shirley (Thornton) Knight. He grew up & attended school in Cherryvale with the class of 1971.

On August 4, 1973 he married Jayne (Rash) in Cherryvale.

Frank made many friends while working at Dewey Auto-store, Fleming Farms, and later at Clean Harbors as a quality control officer until he was forced to retire in 2010 due to cancer, which he later overcame, and COPD.

Survivors include: his wife, one son: Chad (Davia) Knight of Cherryvale; two daughters: Marinda Forrester (Caleb Berger) of Independence, Laurie Knight (Jered Barnett) of Cherryvale. Grandchildren: Dirk Forrester, Abby Hare (Zeke), Jackson, Briggs and Harry Knight, Joey and Jaycie Barnett. Sisters: Missy Knight and Arleta Montross of Independence. Brothers: Bruce Knight of Yates Center and Larry Knight of Parsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Wayne Knight.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Potts Chapel and the family will be receiving friends at My Place in Cherryvale on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 4:00pm-6:00pm. To leave the family a special message of condolence, please visit, www.pottsfuneralhome.com.
