Johanna Stigenwalt

Johanna Bell Stigenwalt, Cherryvale, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in Parsons, Kansas. A memorial service is planned for spring. Memorials are suggested to the Mt. Zion Church in Cherryvale, Kansas.

Johanna Bell Stigenwalt was born on March 17th, 1929 in Cherryvale, Kansas. She was the daughter of Henry and Blanche (Bell) Miller, Jr. She was raised in Cherryvale and graduated in 1947. She married the love of her life, Earl Norman Stigenwalt, on April 23rd, 1949. Together they farmed the family homestead in Cherryvale and raised two daughters.

She enjoyed cooking, reading cookbooks and being a farm wife. She was a lifetime member of the Mt. Zion Church.

Preceding Johanna in death were her parents, husband, sister Mary Lou Isnard, granddaughter-in-law Jessica Shaw, infant grandson, infant granddaughter and great-grandson Luke Shaw.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters: Linda (Gale) Logsdon and Patti (Clyde) Shaw, grandchildren: Aaron (Jennifer) Logsdon, Kris (Becky) Logsdon, Travis (Casi) Shaw and Jason Shaw, seven great-grandchildren: Kayla, Lexie, Sienna, Drake, Cooper, Brylee and Grayson.
