John Allen Wright 63 of Cherryvale Ks, Passed away at his home with his family at his side Saturday, January 30th 2016 in Cherryvale Ks,
A celebration of life will take place Saturday, February 6th at the Hazelldel Church south of Moorhead Ks, on 169 Highway.
John Allen Wright was born July 24th 1952 in Anchorage, Alaska. He was the son of Charles B and Nora S (Dalton) Wright. On August 4th 1977 he was united in marriage to Lola Lewis in Miami, Oklahoma
They made their home in Chanute Ks, before moving to Neodesha for three years then making their home in Cherryvale Ks, for the last 16 years.
John was self-employed and loved fishing, camping and gardening. He enjoyed canning the vegetables that came from his garden. He also loved to cook and he fried the best fried chicken for his family, but most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and his loving wife.
John is survived by his wife of the home, four sons; Glen and wife Tonya Lewis of Independence, KS, Mike Montgomery of Bartlesville OK, Roger Bailey and wife Erin of Cherryvale KS, and Apollo Wright and wife Lisa of Cherryvale KS, four daughters; Nancy Livingston and husband Bill of Collinsville Ok, Hope Bone and husband Samuel of Cherryvale Ks, Sarah Shamblin and husband Cody of Cherryvale KS and Olivia Wright of Kansas City MO, and three sisters Shirley Heinrich of Kansas City Ks, Kathy Shepard of Colorado and Fran Aemisegger and husband Steve of Independence Ks and one brother Charles Wright of Grand Lake Ok, and twenty four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
John is proceeded in death by his parents Charles and Nora Wright.
