Judith Froebe

Judith Ann Froebe, 77, of Coffeyville, Kansas formally of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Windsor Place in Coffeyville, Kansas. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Potts Chapel of Cherryvale. Friends may sign the register from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 21, 2017 with the family receiving guest from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the chapel. Memorials may be made to AWOL Humane Society, 116 S 23rd St. Independence, KS 67301 and or may be left with the chapel.
Judy was born October 26, 1939, in Independence, Kansas to Kent and Thelma (Pierce) Jackson. Judy attended and graduated from Independence Kansas High School and ICC. Judy was united in marriage to Ralph Batten in 1958 in Houston, Texas and had 3 sons, Jon, Kent and Chris; the couple later divorced. In 1964 Judy was united in marriage to William James Caulfield II, in Independence, Kansas and had 1 son William (Bill); the couple later divorced. In 1983 Judy was united in marriage to Jim Froebe in Cherryvale, KS and Jim had 2 sons Rod and Rick. Judy was a member of The Church of The Ascension in Neodesha, KS and also was a member of Neodesha, Kansas PTA. Judy was employed as a Nursing Home Administrator at several nursing homes in the area until her retirement in 2007. After she retired, she would substitute for area schools. Following her retirement, Judy and her husband Jim owned and operated Country Blossom (florist shop) in Cherryvale for approx. 8 years. The couple later sold the business and fully retired.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim, one brother in law Bill Froebe and Letha, two sisters, Jeannie Collins, Barbara Foster, one brother, Kent Jackson and niece Barbara Ann Collins. Survivors include six sons, Kent Caulfield and Fiancé Janice Pierce of Coffeyville, KS; Jon Caulfield and Fiancé Jessica Shaw of Frisco, Texas; R Chris Caulfield of College Station, TX; William J Caulfield III and Julie of Cherryvale, KS; Rick Froebe and Monica of Neptune Beach, FL; Rod Froebe and Jammy of Neodesha, KS; 6 grandchildren; Colby Pacheco of Tulsa, OK; Nicholas Pierce of Coffeyville, KS; Lainey Caulfield & fiancé Ethan Clark of Neodesha, KS; Mason Froebe and Jessa of Overland Park, KS; Alex Woodward and Dean of Dallas, Texas; Morgan Froebe, Seattle, WA; 2 nieces, Patricia Colunga and Joe of Lakewood, CA; Janice Dodds of Du Quoin, Illinois; 3 nephews, Derek Schmidt and Jennifer of Lawrence, KS; Mike Collins and Kathy of Independence, KS; Shean Collins and Lisa of Rancho Palos, CA; and several great nephews and nieces; and great-great nieces.
