Mary Carr

Mary Carr, 71, of Cherryvale KS, passed away Thursday, April 6th 2017 at her home in rural Cherryvale KS. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Potts Chapel of Cherryvale.
Mary Carr was born September 10, 1945 in South Sioux City NE. She was the daughter of Marlowe and Viola (Tebbens) Greene. Mary attended school in South Sioux City NE, where she graduated high school. On June 26th 1966, Mary was united in marriage to Elwyn L Carr in South Sioux City NE.
Mary loved to go antiquing with her husband, going to auctions, taking care of her animals, travel to North Carolina when she could. Most of all she loved to spend time with her loving family and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her loving husband Elwyn of the home, one son Terry and wife Alice Carr of Krum TX, two daughters; Kerri Mains and husband John, Sherri Brown and husband Brian both of Leland NC, one sister Susan Monk of South Sioux City NE, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-grandson expected in September 2017.
