Millicent L Bishop 75 of Cherryvale, KS. passed away Tuesday April 10th, 2018 at Cherryvale Nursing & Rehab Center ii Cherryvale, KS. Memorial services will be Monday April 16, 2018 at 10:00am at Potts Chapel in Cherryvale, KS. Burial will follow at Harmony Grove Cemetery Northeast of Cherryvale, KS,
Millicent L Bishop was born May 2, 1941 in Parsons, KS. the daughter of Merrill and Merle (Foster) Darling, Millicent grew up in the Cherryvale, KS area before the family moved to Wichita, KS where she attended school and graduated high school at Wichita North High School in 1959. After high school she work in homes as a caregiver to the elderly. Millicent later moved back to Cherryvale. On December 8, 1998 she was united in marriage to Jack Bishop and he preceded her in death. She resided at the Fredonia, KS Candle Rock Care Center approximately ten years and has lived in Cherryvale Nursing & Rehab center for the past year and six month.
Millicent loved to take care of the older people and loved to collect different things and loved being around people but most of all loved being with her family.
Millicent is survived by cousin Don Foster and wife Debra of Cherryvale, KS. and cousins in Parsons, KS. Millicent is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Jack Bishop and one brother Keith Darling. Memorials may be left in Millicent name to The United Methodist Church of Cherryvale, KS.
