With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the untimely passing of our cherished Oakley Ryan Bone, who left this world on February 17, 2026, at the tender age of six months. Born on August 4, 2025, in Coffeyville, Kansas, Oakley graced our lives with her radiant smile and vibrant spirit, bringing joy to all who knew her. Oakley passed away peacefully in her mother's loving arms, surrounded by those who knew and loved her beyond measure.
From her first days, Oakley was a source of happiness and laughter. She was adored by her beloved mother, Bailey Morris, and her devoted father, Jacob Bone. Oakley shared a special bond with her big sister, Willow, as they played and created memories together at every opportunity. Her laughter resonated in the hearts of her family, who will forever remember her bubbly and vivacious personality.
Oakley had a distinct preference for green beans and ice cream, revealing her playful nature through her love for her favorite show, Paw Patrol. With a spirit full of curiosity, she delighted in mischievous antics, whether it was trying to snag her mother's glasses, pounce on her mother, or playfully interrupting her father's video game sessions. Her growls and giggles will echo in the hearts of her family, a lasting reminder of the joy she bestowed upon them.
Oakley is lovingly survived by her mother Bailey Morris; her father Jacob Bone; her sister Willow Bone; her grandparents, Samuel Bone, Nora Bone, Stephine Morris, and Joseph Stanely; her uncles Nicholas Bone, James Bone, and Samuel Bone II; her aunts Gracie Kitterman, Hailey Bowder, Morgan Hugo, and many other aunts, uncles, great grandparents, and cousins. Each of her family members will carry forward the light of her spirit, as they mourn the extraordinary little girl who touched their lives for such a fleeting time.
A visitation will be held Friday, February 27, 2026, from 6 to 8 pm, at Potts Chapel in Cherryvale, Kansas. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Oakley Bone Ryan will be held on February 28, 2026, at the First Southern Baptist Church in Cherryvale, Kansas, at 12:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at the Fairview Calvary Cemetery in Coffeyville, Kansas. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of her brief yet impactful journey among us. As we come together to honor the precious life she lived, we will cherish the memories she gifted us and the love that will forever bind us as a family.
In our hearts, Oakley will remain a vibrant light, a beloved soul who lives on in the love shared by all who held her dear.
