Susan Enloe

Susan Jean Enloe, age 75 of Humboldt, Kansas died 11/23/2020 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Susan was born April 7, 1945 to John and Annette (McCabe) Yurkovich in Los Angeles, California. Susan grew up in Torrance, California and graduated from the Banning High School in California.

On August 20, 1966 Susan married Charles “Chuck” Clark Enloe in Reno, Nevada. Chuck preceded her in death. Susan worked at Cessna for many years and retired from Orizon Aerostructures in Chanute, Kansas. Susan and husband Chuck owned and operated Hideaway Tavern in Humboldt, Kansas for 18 years. She loved her family and her community and was loved by everone.

Survivors include two children John Wesley Enloe and Frances “Frankie” (Nick) Harris both of Humboldt, Kansas; step son Chuck (Shawn) Enloe Jr. of Lexington, Oklahoma; three sisters Carol Yurkovich of Santa Cruz, CA, Cathy Atwood of Aptos, CA, Frances (Paul) Anderson of Citrus Heights, CA,

Grandchildren, Cheyenne Harris, Haley King Enloe both of Humboldt, Kansas, Amy Enloe of Kansas City, Mo, Chris Bettis of Sidney, NE, Conan Whitefield of Sidney, NE, Tawney Lenea Sandlin of Byers, Oklahoma; five great granddaughters, two great grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, step son Craig Enloe, Brother Michael Yurkovich and brother-in-law Robert Atwood.

Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held at a later date under the direction of the Potts Chapel in Independence, Kansas. Friends may leave online condolences at www.pottsfuneralhome.com.
