Treva Brown

Treva Jean Brown, 83, passed away December 31, 2018 at Elm Haven in Parsons, Kansas. A celebration of Treva's life will be held at Potts Chapel in Cherryvale, Kansas on Thursday, January 3rd at 2:00 pm.

Treva was born on June 25, 1935 in Cherryvale, Kansas to Earl (Dutch) and Florence (Lyon) Kolb. Treva married Bill Schibi on August 31, 1957 in Cherryvale. From this marriage, the two welcomed 3 children, Donnie, Shelley, and Amy. The two later divorced. On June 5, 1987, Treva married Bill Brown in Pittsburg, Kansas, the two later divorced. Treva worked at Katy Hospital in Parsons, Kansas from 1975 to 1982. She then worked at Parsons State Hospital until retiring in 1998. Treva loved sewing, playing BINGO, and was an avid Elvis Presley fan. Most of all she loved the time she got to spend with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Florence Kolb, son, Donnie Schibi, brothers, Walter Kolb, Bud Kolb, and sisters, Norma Miller and Maxine Cripps.
