Wanda Brook

Wanda Lucille Brook, 72, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016 at her home.
A celebration of her life will be Monday, February 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Potts Chapel in Cherryvale. A visitation will take place 9:00 a.m. till service time, with family greeting friends.
Wanda Lucille Brook was born October 7, 1943 in Coffeyville, Kansas. She was the daughter of Robert and Hazel (Eveleigh) Morris. She attended school in Atchison, Kansas and graduated in 1961. She then attended Coffeyville Junior College receiving her Associate Degree.
On December 17, 1971 Wanda was united in marriage to Frank J. Brook in Miami, Oklahoma. They made their home in Coffeyville for 30 years. There she was the assistant manager of Bartlet Flour Mill for 14 years. Later she worked as a tax preparer for H & R Block before she opened her own tax office. Wanda retired on December 8, 2014.Wanda and Frank lived the past four months in Cherryvale, Kansas.
Wanda loved spending time with her loving family and loved to play Bingo.
Wanda is survived by her husband Frank, of the home, three sons; Frank L. Brook and wife Carrol of Madison, KS, Tracy W. Brook and wife Shelly of Independence, KS and Roy E. Brook of Carthage, MO, one daughter Deborah D. Wilson of Cherryvale, KS, two brothers; William Morris and wife Theresa of Lexton, OK and John Morris and wife Connie of Caney, KS, three sisters; Roberta Morris of Dearing, KS, June Brister of Coffeyville, KS and Linda Berryman of Liberty, KS, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, one son Daryll W. Brook, one grandchild Anthony J. Brook and three great grandchildren.
