Emma Fern McHugh

Fern McHugh, 93, of Cherryvale Kansas, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, February 13, 2023.

Fern was born January 1, 1930 in Mound Valley Kansas and lived in Cherryvale all her life.  

She was united in marriage to Roland McHugh on December 3, 1948 and lived alongside one another for 58 years. She was a member of the New Hope Christian Church in Cherryvale, Kansas. 

Survivors include two sons: Larry McHugh (Pam), Ronnie McHugh (Beth), three grandsons: Sherman McHugh, Brian McHugh and Derek McHugh (Lexi), along with several nieces and nephews.  She was proceeded in death by her loving husband Roland, mother, father, three brothers and one sister.  

Visitation will be held at Potts Chapel in Cherryvale on Thursday, February 16th with the family greeting friends at 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 17th at 11:00 am at Potts Chapel in Cherryvale with burial immediately following at Fairview Cemetery.
